Bloom Compost
High quality finished biosolids compost certified by the US Compost Council. High organic matter content. Germination and growth tests showed excellent results. Improves soil aeration, soil drainage, water holding capacity of sandy soils and the ability of soils to absorb and hold nutrients. Safe to use anywhere nutrients and organic matter can be used - even edible crops. Can be added to your yard to improve soil for grass or spread a thin layer over existing grass to add nutrients.
The composting process combines ground yard waste (leaves, grass, pine straw, etc.) collected throughout the community with biosolids to create an optimal blend of materials that generate a nutrient-rich final product. Biosolids are the nutrient-rich organic materials resulting from the treatment of domestic sewage in a wastewater treatment facility. Biosolids are a beneficial resource, containing essential plant nutrients and organic matter and are recycled as a fertilizer and soil amendment.
*May contain pieces of bags that were used to collect leaves but does not affect the quality of the material.

Pine Fines Soil Conditioner
Pine fines—also known as pine bark fines—are finely ground particles of pine bark, typically no larger than a fingernail. Unlike traditional mulch, pine fines are used primarily as a soil amendment to improve texture, aeration, and nutrient content.
Benefits of Pine Fines
💧 Moisture Retention
Helps soil hold water longer, reducing the need for frequent irrigation.
🌱 Enhanced Aeration
Improves drainage and promotes healthy root growth by creating air pockets in the soil.
🌿 Nutrient Boost
Adds organic nutrients like nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus to support plant development.
🌸 pH Adjustment
Slightly lowers soil pH, making it ideal for acid-loving plants such as azaleas, magnolias, and hollies.
🌿How to Use Pine Fines
As a Soil Amendment
Mix 1–2 inches of pine fines into the top 4–6 inches of soil to improve structure and fertility.
In Container Gardening
Blend 10–30% pine fines into potting mixes to enhance drainage and root aeration.
For Light Mulching
Apply a thin layer (½–1 inch) around plants to suppress weeds and retain moisture.
In Composting
Add to compost piles to balance nitrogen-rich materials and improve airflow.
For Acid-Loving Plants
Incorporate into planting beds or mixes for species that thrive in lower pH soils.
